Aishwarya Rai Shares her Views and Opinions on her Twitter Page

Aishwarya Rai

There’s something to be said about being so beautiful, well-spoken and articulate that you get to take home the title Miss World, and that’s exactly the title that Aishwarya Rai did in 1994. The beautiful Indian actress has made her mark on the world, working her way up from beauty queen to Miss World to actress with a successful career to her credit. She’s set to release her first film in more than five years later this year, and it’s a much talked about project. No one is quite sure what made her leave the big screen, but it’s been suggested that she decided she’d rather be home with her daughter, born in 2011. And that, my friends, is a pretty great reason to put your career on hold. There’s nothing better or more worthwhile than parenthood, and we can’t ignore the fact that she seems perfectly happy. But with her new project set to premier later this year, we thought we might take a quick look Aishwarya Rai’s twitter page and see what else she’s been up to. And then we thought we’d share some of her tweets with you to kind of sum up the most recent days of her exciting life.

I don't feel fear. Rather there is a lot of anger and I don't hesitate to say this.

It’s an interesting statement to make, but a good one. Someone once said that the only thing to fear is fear itself, and that’s something we do not doubt in any sense.

Many of us are privileged to have a lot of assurance about our safety but most of the women in our country do not have that.

What is sad is that women in our country primarily think of themselves and their own freedoms, often becoming indignant over little things that women in other countries are denied their entire lives. It’s not wrong that we feel how we do, but it is sad we think so little of our gifts and of the sacrifices and lifestyles lived by so many others.

In a vast country like India, there are many and varied challenges one faces while working with diverse rural and semi-urban communities.

She is a woman who loves her country, but does recognize what life is all about.
