Meghan and Harry left humiliated as Americans say they 'would love to ship' them back to the UK

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been publicly humiliated after a US commentator claimed that America would "love to send them back" to Britain.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from the Royal Family in 2020 and relocated to Montecito, California where they have lived ever since with their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

However, they have been on the end of a huge backlash in the US after making numerous bombshell claims against the monarchy which saw their popularity plunge in leading polls.

The couple have also suffered further embarrassment this year after they were savagely mocked in episodes of satire cartoons including South Park and Family Guy, the Express reports.

US commentator and Salem News Channel host Julie Hartman suggested that many Americans have now become fed up of Meghan and Harry's antics.

While being quizzed on GB News about current issues in California, host Darren Grimes playfully remarked that the problems are "not just because Harry and Meghan moved there".

Hartman replied: "By the way, we would love to send Harry and Meghan back.

"I don’t know why they came to us. We will gladly ship them back to the UK."

The latest comments come after a US royal commentator claimed that the Sussexes "have become a parody in the US" after the couple were brutally mocked during an episode of Family Guy.

Kinsey Schofield appeared on Mike Graham's show on TalkTV, branding the latest cartoon takedown as "Meghan Markle's worst nightmare".

She warned that if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to build out successful careers in the US that "they have to shake the idea of being a parody", adding doing so is "crucial to their brand".

Schofield said: "I get such a kick out of seeing two people who take themselves so seriously become a parody over here. I think this is probably Meghan's worst nightmare.

"We hear that Meghan wants to become the next Oprah Winfrey. She's going to make this movie 'Meet Me At The Lake', it's going to make her a power player in Hollywood.

"If they do want to have that kind of level of success, and Meghan wants to be a celebrity influencer, they have to shake the idea of being a parody. That's crucial to their brand."

The royal commentator added: "Dior is not going to want to work with somebody that the public sees as a joke - they want to work with sophistication and somebody that is [sic] chic.

"They have to put their heads together and figure out how they distance themselves from things like South Park and Family Guy.

"They lack a work ethic and realistic goals at this point in their career and exit from the Royal Family."
